Ministries Provided and Opportunities To Serve  

• Sunday worship, special services on Maundy Thursday, Thanksgiving Eve, and Christmas Eve.
• Visitation to hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living homes, and shut ins.
• Weddings, funerals, baby dedications, and baptisms.
• Counseling for marriages, children, grief, and depression.
• Youth group, and camp opportunities.
• Educational opportunities for adults on Sunday and Wednesday.
• Social groups.

Bible Study meets on Wednesday nights from 6:45PM to 8:30PM. This class examines books from the old and new testaments on an alternating basis. The emphasis is on discussion and application to today. All class participants, regardless of their Bible knowledge, feel free to interact in the lively discussions.

The Music Program - The church has a long history of wonderful music. There is a chancel choir, bell choir, and youth choir. The chancel choir sings for every service from September to May. The Bell Choir performs for special services. The adult choirs practice on Thursday evening. The Youth Choir practices after church on Sunday and performs for special services. Come and help us to make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

Bloodmobile - The Rock River Valley Blood Center Bloodmobile (formerly Northern Illinois Blood Bank) will be taking donations at First Baptist Church serveral times during the year. The Rock River Valley Blood Center provides the blood for Beloit Memorial Hospital. To learn the next date and set up an appointment, please call the church office at 608-365-8544.
